About
I’ve had the pleasure of working with small parcel shippers and carriers for more than 20 years. My main area of focus has been in working with businesses with the on-going challenge of bringing together process improvement and technology in order to reduce transportation costs and inefficiencies. Common to all the businesses and carriers I’ve worked with is the commitment to get the right item to the right customer, at the time and place they need it, and at the right cost.
My current venture is Nexxio. Nexxio is a boutique software development company and vendor high quality, people ready, logistics software. A privately held company located in Plano, Texas, our clients range from small privately held businesses to large, globally located, public companies. Common to all our clients, however, is the need to automate and streamline logistics processes, re-purpose logistics data to multiple front-line business operations and enterprise applications, and improve their bottom line on costs and profit. If you would like to find out more about Nexxio, you can vist us at www.nexxio.com.
I wanted to start this blog in order to talk about what I like to talk about…at least during the business day…and that is shipping. There is a lot to talk about, so let’s get started.
Thanks for visiting and participating in this blog.
